Is there a finer sight in life than Australians getting absolutely thrashed? I doubt it.

You may be interested to know that SA is currently a police state. At Adelaide Oval I watched local copper ejecting supporters for becoming a little emotional. One poor chap was given a proper cuffing for swearing! On the other hand, the Barmy Army were of model behaviour.

Austin - Perhaps watching the Celts get rogered on the rugger field might compete, but it would be a close run thing!

Shenzie - I've heard reports that Australia is becoming a nanny state. I suspect that the colonials, conscious of their rum breeding, are rather over-compensating by becoming overly strict. A bit like Kate Middleton's rather over-pukka accent. The larrikin spirit is the Australian's only saving grace, so it will be a pity if they banish it.

Indeed a good thrashing My Lord. However you have declared yourself to be far fonder of the oval ball. Why no post about the boffing the Queen's men got from the Bok Brutes?

I hardly think a mere friendly match deserves a post, old duck.

And as i write this, Haddin goes for 12! We might just wrap this up by lunch. If you're not watching on SkyHD, you'd do well to tune in to TMS on 5Live. Few do it better than Aggers these days; although Christopher Martin Jenkins is a tad dour. Wait! And Harris goes for a pair! Australia plummet. Who'd have thought?

Not good enough dear Lord. It was a test match. Just like the second Ashes test was a test match.

Good heavens, woman, you are surely not comparing some meaningless kickabout with the Yarpies to the legendary Ashes?!

You Dutch folk are even bigger philistines than I suspected.
